Holy Land Hobo
Why the Holy Land Hobo you might ask? Susan and I have been doing an inductive Bible study on 1Peter. After spending two years in Isaiah and Jeremiah, the "Good News" of what waits for those who stand firm in their faith is refreshing.

One of the important points that Peter makes is that we are travelers, aliens or sojourners on this earth. Our home is in heaven. Our hope is that we will return to be with Christ before The Day of the L-rd.

However, until Christ returns we are homeless.

A hobo is a homeless person, mostly of their own choosing. We choose not to be "of the world" even though we are in the world by circumstances beyond our control. Also, it has been said the the origin of "Hobo" comes from "Homeward Bound."  That certainly applies to us. So "Holy Land Hobo" it is.
Why Holy Land Hobo?
It's been said that the term "Hobo" originated as an abbreviation of the phrase, "Homeward Bound."
